Second Spore-Monger in a Season

This season marks the first time the spore-monger has made an encore. I suspect mutation is involved. The spores have already claimed the minds of Lopstick; what more can they control? Our very souls? Lucky for me I don't have one...

Wonder what this wood be...

After the heavy rains from hurricane Florence subsided, I took a walk, and found these had manifested in the neighborwood. Reminds me of what happened to my dear Carl many moons ago. Lightning stuck him, and he turned into Chuck, my compost pile. I wonder whom these neighbors used to be... People tend to keep to themselves in this trailer park, ever since the great spore infestation...

Sole Sunflower Survivor

Out of a whole slew of sunflower seeds planted this year... Stands a sole survivor... The rest falling to the whims of forest fauna. Next year my yard will burst forth dozens of miniature suns...

Sweet Monster

Lot #6, Back Lake Lane tends to spawn monsters. First was Chuck, my sentient compost pile, then the spudmonster, and now this yammonster: I wonder whether yammonster will survive this winter... ...and bear baby yammonsters the following summer. Fate is fickle. Spudmonster migrated to the garden, where the worms bored in and out. And Chuck is still going strong... and gets stronger every year...
