The interior of the new trailer next-door is pretty much finished. How do I know? I'm a trespasser. Seems the workers aren't locking the back door of the new trailer when they leave, and I've been checking their progress most every evening. The beautiful horror of Oktoberweenfest in Lopstick is that you can participate in the festivities without knowing. I've gone almost two weeks with my moonlight strolls and had been too preoccupied with my thoughts to notice the ghouls and goblins also strolling the trailer park. These dusk apparitions are flaunting their month-long featurement in the "real" world. I managed to snap a pic of this small skeleton carrying a hooked staff and floating by my feet...
Turns out the avocado pits I've been chucking into my compost pile are turning into avocado trees. This has never happened before. These saplings are a mere few weeks old, and growing ever so fast in the nutrient-rich compost. Will next year bring an avocado forest?
