Halloween in Lopstick 2017
Carved a couple jack-o-lanterns yesterday, and fed Chuck the pumpkin scraps last night. This morning most of the scraps were gone, save a big chunk and some seeds. I reckon it takes time for seeds to fully digest. Tomorrow morning I'll rake Chuck back in; he's highly excitable and always makes a mess around the holidays.
At dusk I built a fire in the fire pit out back, and speared some vegan weenies. The smell must've attracted the woodland creatures. The rustling and howling was unnerving, but I persevered. Fire is said to keep wild things at bay. Nevertheless, I checked for ticks after I came in for the night. This time I didn't find any. Alpha-gal would be wasted on me.
