Then the trees were stumped.
A giant tree-cutting crane was parked in the driveway of the rat trailer over the weekend. And on Monday, all the trees next-door were stumped. But two days later, still no sign of any trailer-razing. Now I imagine all the tree-dwelling creatures have fled from their former homes. Just as the rats will flee from their home when the trailer is finally flattened. Lucky for me, I've not seen nor heard any sign of new rat inhabitants in my trailer. The repellents are still working. Or maybe the park methods are wildly effective.
