What you get with wet.

The first day of meteorological fall brought more rain showers and between-rain-showers humidity to Lopstick... and so I will consider this beginning of September as Lopstick's indigenous summer, even though tonight is considerably cooler, in the mid-60s and dropping. And with all the extended wetness, a continuation of the extended flux of cheepers and creepers... and subsequently a return of the rats. A friendly neighbor mentioned he had seen a red fox go after a rat in broad daylight in the vacant lot next-door. And as rats are crepuscular, and red foxes are nocturnal, the rat population must be such that they are crowding out of the forest so much so that they are stirring up the foxes...
